Had our first date sans bambino last night. (My dad and step-mom were in town to babysit) It was the first time in the history of all the dates I’ve ever been on in my entire life that this conversation occurred:
Brent: You know what would be great - if Everly poops before we get back tonight.
Melissa: Seriously, the kid hasn’t pooped in days. She needs to poop.
WE TALKED ABOUT POOPING! On our big kids night out. (shakes head slowly in disappointment)
We said we weren’t going to be those people…but there we were, talking about our daughter’s bodily functions while we waited for dessert to arrive. Is this just a glimpse of things to come?
