I get so much joy out of writing this blog. It is where I come to reflect and create. It is a precious space for me and one where I often lay down the contents of my heart. Thank you for being here too. Thank you for reading and coming back. Thank you for being gentle with me when I need it and constructive when I need a dose of perspective too. Here’s to the great adventures of 2013!

P.S. In an effort to distract myself from the post holiday anxiety about going back to work, I got the bug to tinker with my blog a bit last night. After fifteen rounds of messing with a cute photo of the kids on picmonkey and googling html codes, I finally got a few changes up. I have threatened for years to give this space a real facelift. One day, when the time and money appear to do so, I hope to make it a whole lot easier to navigate around and use the search functionality. On the priority list of things to feed, wash, maintain, or organize, my poor blog sadly gets squashed to the bottom. But small changes still feel good - so I’m happy to welcome the new year with a sort-of new look :)
