The ultrasound technician said…

That based on where my placenta was attached that I probably wouldn’t feel any movements until probably around 20 weeks. Well, if there isn’t a baby making those weird fluttery movements in my belly then apparently I ate something with legs.

For the past two hours, I’ve been working on my computer in the bed and every 15 mins or so I can feel this little woosh movement. It’s definitely noticable and I’ve never felt anything like it!

Is it possible that the technician could be wrong? I’m not trying to make something out of nothing… but I’ve either got a moving baby in there, or my bagel and blueberries from breakfast are square dancing in my stomach. (I’m picturing a blueberry in a big fluffy crinoline as I write this…hahaha)

Now that I think about, I kinda like either one of those scenarios. So dance away Baby Jordan or breakfast!

Love,

M

Growing the Good April Charity: The Theodore Mulhollan Walk Team for March of Dimes.

Hello. I'm Melissa.

Wife to a rock n roll, super dad named Brent.

We're the adventuring type. Go. do. See.
We hit the jackpot when we had our daughter, Everly Veda in January 2010.
She has my eyes, his lips and a San Francisco heart.

In May 2011, we welcomed Arlo Redding, the most magical little dude ever into our family. His presence has made our good thing, even better.

We like old stuff and keeping it simple.
We believe in love, family and a good pair of cowboy boots.

Brent sings songs.
I write words.
And these sweet babies make our world go round.

Welcome.
