Have you ever owned a dress so pretty it deserved its own party? A dress with the perfect amount of sparkle, lace, and dainty details that it suddenly has you itching to throw together an invite, hang some garland from the ceiling and whip up your famous white bean dip? When this beautiful little frock by designer Corey Lynn Calter arrived on my door, it was all I could do not to call my girlfriends over immediately for a little impromptu shindig.

Want to know what makes this dress even sweeter? It was sent to me by my friend Jen (of the beautiful blog Jen Loves Kev) via Modcloth’s Bloggers Spread The Cheer campaign. Jen got to choose her favorite holiday dress and then send the same one to another blogger. I was so unbelievably touched and excited that I was the lucky friend who got to celebrate in style with her.

Modcloth has been Spreading the Cheer throughout the holiday season by hand delivering packages to local customers and passing out gift cards to customers with one to keep and one to share. To keep things going, now through Christmas, any customer who purchases a gift card on their site will be eligible to win a second gift card to spread a little cheer of their own to a loved one.
