I’ve been searching for the perfect pram for months - but their cost always seemed so exorbinant for something we’d only be able to use for 5 or 6 months. Brand new prams are anywhere from $1000 to $4000 depending on the make and model.
Spending that much money would be irresponsible - and so I was hoping and crossing my fingers we’d find something used for a more reasonable price. On a whim, I searched the Raleigh Craigslist because we are going home in a few weeks.  There just so happened to be a Silver Cross Balmoral Pram for sale in the same city as my father for only $60.00 (see photo above).  That is a ridiculously low price - so I thought there must be something majorly wrong with it.
I sent dad to go check it out today - and sure enough - it’s in great shape! It has some scratches on the main bassinet - but we plan to have it repainted (maybe a light yellow or green?). A brand new version of this English-made pram sells for $3,000.00 online.  So with a new coat of paint, a new mattress, and shipping it to SF - we will have spent a total of $250 on a beautiful pram worth thousands more.
I am so excited about this

Growing the Good April Charity: The Theodore Mulhollan Walk Team for March of Dimes.

Hello. I'm Melissa.

Wife to a rock n roll, super dad named Brent.

We're the adventuring type. Go. do. See.
We hit the jackpot when we had our daughter, Everly Veda in January 2010.
She has my eyes, his lips and a San Francisco heart.

In May 2011, we welcomed Arlo Redding, the most magical little dude ever into our family. His presence has made our good thing, even better.

We like old stuff and keeping it simple.
We believe in love, family and a good pair of cowboy boots.

Brent sings songs.
I write words.
And these sweet babies make our world go round.

Welcome.
