Dear Baby Sponsor Highlight: Miskabelly Vintage

The only thing that rivals sweet vintage baby clothes on the awesome scale is sweet vintage maternity clothes. Why? Because, uh, they’re like really, really hard to find. I spent so much time scouring the racks of some of San Francisco’s greatest vintage stores in an effort to find dresses and tops that would cover my big ‘ol baby belly and was only successful a fraction of the time.

That’s why I luh luh loveeeee (sing that part in a high pitch voice) the sister duo of Amanda and Jayme that run Miskabelly Vintage. Their shop is stocked to the gills with pretty things for baby loves and mamas to be.

Just last week Everly received the prettiest yellow dress from their shop. It reminds me so much of a favorite pair of hand-me-down sheets from my grandmother and I think it’ll be adorable paired with magenta colored tights and mary janes.

A few other Miskabelly items I’m “eeeking” over right now:

This adorable plaid jumper

This duck and elephant windbreaker raincoat

I have more than one expecting friend who would look gorgeous in this crocheted, dolman sleeve dress.

And where was this tunic when I was pregnant with Everly?!? It’s so fab and would like awesome belted too!

By now, you’ve probably spotted a few things you’d like to add to your own wish list. And lucky for you - the Miskabelly gals are giving away a $50 gift certificate to their shop to one lucky Dear Baby reader.

There are lots of ways you can enter: (One entry per action, be sure to leave a comment for each action you take)

1. Go check out their etsy store and leave a comment below with which piece is favey fave fave.

2. Follow them on twitter

3. Follow their Miskabelly blog, Jayme is 30 weeks pregnant and writes the cutest updates on their bundle to be.

4. Vote for Dear Baby on Top Baby Blogs.

I’ll announce the winner Friday evening (I pinky swear I won’t forget this time!) Good luck vintage lovers!!!

Growing the Good April Charity: The Theodore Mulhollan Walk Team for March of Dimes.

Hello. I'm Melissa.

Wife to a rock n roll, super dad named Brent.

We're the adventuring type. Go. do. See.
We hit the jackpot when we had our daughter, Everly Veda in January 2010.
She has my eyes, his lips and a San Francisco heart.

In May 2011, we welcomed Arlo Redding, the most magical little dude ever into our family. His presence has made our good thing, even better.

We like old stuff and keeping it simple.
We believe in love, family and a good pair of cowboy boots.

Brent sings songs.
I write words.
And these sweet babies make our world go round.

Welcome.
