Atleast once a week, as I’m changing into my pajamas - Brent stands me in front of the mirror, turns me to the side and inspects the bump. It’s so teeny right now - just a little pooch that starts about an inch under my belly button. I’m sure most folks just assume I ate one too many hot dogs at lunch time (which is probably true also) -

It’s funny to feel so pregnant but not really look it. I had a window seat on the plane yesterday and I had to make the people next to me get up three times so that I could take potty breaks on the flight. I could tell by request #3 that they were getting a bit annoyed with me - So I finally said “I’m so sorry, but I’m 12 weeks pregnant and I’ve recently become the queen of potty breaks”  The man on the aisle smiled, but the woman next to me eyed me suspiciously- I think she was convinced I’d consumed a gallon jug of water before boarding the plane.

So even though my clothes will no longer fit and I’ll have to give up all of my waist belts - I’ll be glad to have a visible pregnant belly…. because then atleast people will understand when I hop up and down while waiting in line to the ladies room.
