Halloween
I’ve been thinking about Everly’s halloween costume since…oh… about mid August. (kind of sad, I know) I’ve always loved dressing up for halloween but now that she’s here, I’ve turned all of my excitement into planning what she should be.
I wanted her to be something unexpected and I knew I was going to make it myself. I barely, barely sew - so taking on the challenge of making a halloween costume is a bit laughable. But my mother made my halloween costumes for years and I wanted to pass on the tradition. She wasn’t much of a sewer either and my costumes growing up were always fantastic. Fortunately, I’ve acquired her knack for clever reinterpretation and a few of her crafting skills! (I once made four British Royal Guard costumes for my girlfriends and I with nothing but felt, gold buttons, and a glue gun!)
I’m in the middle of creation mode right now as October is so busy and my time to focus on costume making is limited… but all I can say is that it’s going to be AWESOME. Spectacularly adorable.
Since we’re spending Halloween up in Asheville, NC with the Gainers, Natasha and I decided we’d make the girls a pair.
Here are a few clues:

Can you guess ?!?!?
Love,
M
