(Best natural teether ever: baby toes)

My blog neglect is in full force this week. There is so much going on with house buying , Arlo doctor appointments, and a full list of upcoming events and projects. Also, can I just say that going through the loan process for buying a home must feel something like trying to get hired by the FBI. So much paper work. and “proof of” somethings to provide. and inspections to order. and things to sign and make decisions on. Being a legit adult is equal parts exciting and overwhelming.

In honor of my fried mental state, this is a blog post about nothing. There are a lot of really interesting things happening for our family right now, but I am gripped with a complete inability to write about them. Writers block via over-stimulation, I suppose.

I hope to knock some sense into myself over the weekend.

Love,

M

Growing the Good April Charity: The Theodore Mulhollan Walk Team for March of Dimes.

Hello. I'm Melissa.

Wife to a rock n roll, super dad named Brent.

We're the adventuring type. Go. do. See.
We hit the jackpot when we had our daughter, Everly Veda in January 2010.
She has my eyes, his lips and a San Francisco heart.

In May 2011, we welcomed Arlo Redding, the most magical little dude ever into our family. His presence has made our good thing, even better.

We like old stuff and keeping it simple.
We believe in love, family and a good pair of cowboy boots.

Brent sings songs.
I write words.
And these sweet babies make our world go round.

Welcome.
