Today I purchased the very first thing “baby” item. A soft, yellow baby quilt. It’s covered in the most lovely designs… toy soldiers, turtles, and lovebirds. I imagine one day taking our child to the park, laying this soft blanket down, and placing the baby on its belly so it can watch the dogs hunt for gophers.

In May 2011, we welcomed Arlo Redding, the most magical little dude ever into our family. His presence has made our good thing, even better.
