Dear Baby

This is a post for Brent. Who spent the majority of his afternoon with a drill in hand, hanging and moving things around in Everly’s nursery. This is a thank you for saying “Sit down and relax, I’ve got her” when Everly stirred in her crib at bedtime. This is a thank you for making a bottle before the sun came up and a cup of coffee in a to-go cup ready for me before I walked out the door this morning. This is a thank you for your patience, your sweet gentleness with both of the girls in your life, and for keeping my burdens light.

You are always there, to be whatever we need, whenever we need it.

and I’ll never take that for granted.
