I pulled this little tie dye onesie out of Arlo’s drawer Saturday for him to wear and it made me smile. My mama bought it for Everly when she came to visit us in San Francisco right after she was born. When we first moved back to North Carolina, I snapped a photo of Everly in it. Since it was the first time he ever wore it, I decided I wanted to take a similar photo of Arlo on the same couch.
Afterwards, I went digging through our computer files looking for the original so that I could put them side by side. Based on the date I uploaded it, Everly was 4 months and 8 days old when it was snapped. Then I counted how many days Arlo was on Saturday - 4 months and 7 days. One day shy of being the exact same age.
I love the coincidence almost as much as I enjoy seeing the similarities and differences in my two squishy little loves at the same age.
