bump watch
Atleast once a week, as I’m changing into my pajamas - Brent stands me in front of the mirror, turns me to the side and inspects the bump. It’s so teeny right now - just a little pooch that starts about an inch under my belly button. I’m sure most folks just assume I ate one too many hot dogs at lunch time (which is probably true also) -
It’s funny to feel so pregnant...
Oh little bird...
This little jumper is just too sweet.
This pregnancy thing is taking its toll on me.
I am starting to feel like a little old man. All I want to do is lay on the couch, burp, and unbutton my pants so my belly can hang out.

3. 2 vintage golden back books from our neighbor Michael. I plan to photocopy some of...

Lullaby
Brent has already begun to writeour first lullaby. He sang the first 4 lines while I walked back to my hotel after an event in Houston, TX. It’s going to be a beautiful song, I imagine by the time the baby arrives we’ll know all the words by heart.
Away we go.
My ultrasound today revealed that this baby is a good looking kid, sitting right where an 8 week old baby is supposed to sit, growing little arms and legs, and that heart was just beating away! I can not tell you how simply AMAZING this experience was Brent and I both got tears in our eyes, and he had his face smushed so close to the monitor that we had to ask him to step back so the nurse and...
